Dealers have struggled to put the right parts on the shelf since day 1! The struggle to minimize investment while having the right part on the shelf is 'age old'. Couple that with the market labor shortage of good and knowledgeable people and you've got a problem.

We specialize in solving this 'age old' problem. We routinely help dealers increase part fill rates while actually reducing inventory. Reducing your inventory by 10% while improving fill rate is achieved by our clients all the time.

So how do we do this?

Over our almost 30 years of experience in the industry we've managed to zero in on some common struggles that dealers have. Ultimately the solution is to take a more 'science + service' based approach. Do you set your stocking plans based 'months of stock'? This is a trap door. While your CFO may think that's a good idea, that approach is actually killing your fill rate which is resulting in last sales (which your CFO really cares about). Start setting your stocking policies based on part availability. Are you making sure you update the plans on the 'high runners'? This is a recipe for service and financial disaster. After 2-3 months of this approach, your plan is out of data. You're probably missing sales while ordering parts that are only adding to excess or obsolescence.

The good news - we can solve these. We've compiled a list of the most common inventory planning problems we see at dealers.
